CURRICULUM DELIVERY AND SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Our experienced staff provide a comprehensive
whole-school planned curriculum that encompasses the
Victorian Essential Learning Standards with clear set
goals for students to achieve in core areas.
Physical, Personal and Social Learning
Health and Physcial Education,
Interpersonal Development, Personal
Learning, Civics & Citizenship.
Discipline Based Learning
The Arts and English. The Humanities
(Economics, Geography and History),
Mathematics and Science.
Interdisciplinary Learning
Communication, Design, Creativity and
Technology, Information and
Communications Technology, Thinking.
All students have the opportunity to participate
in a range of extra curricular activities
including an End of Term performance
including the End of Year School Concert,
environmental activites and interschool sport.
Curriculum activites are enhanced through
such visits/programs as Waterwatch,
Responsbile Pet Ownership, Life Education,
Swimming Program, ELF day, Rural Schools'
Sports and Camping programs, Sports' Clinics,
Excusions and Performing Arts.
The school has an effective professional
development program that focuses on
improving student outcomes and best teacher
practice whilst incorporating current
Department of Education and Early Childhood
Development (DEEDC) inititatives.
SCHOOL CAMPS AND EXCURSIONS
It is expected, though not compulsory, that all students will be involved in these types of activities
which provide a balanced curriculum and all parents are urged to support them. Notification will
be provided as early as possible in the year so that parents can budget for the costs involved.

SKIING PROGRAMME
Each year we run a 4 week program of Cross Country Skiing at Lake Mountain and a Skiing/Board
day at Mt Buller.
